First-time clients will be billed upon the completion of their project. Returning clients will be billed on the 1st and 15th of each month. Payment is due within 14 days of invoicing. Payments later than 30 days will incur a 10% late fee calculated from the invoice total; a new invoice will be sent with the updated outstanding balance.
Preferred payment methods include Google Wallet (credit, debit, or bank transfer); PayPal (eCheck or PayPal balance); Venmo (debit and bank transfer); and debit or credit via invoices. I am searchable on all apps and websites by e-mail address: email@example.com.
No new jobs will be accepted from clients with outstanding invoices more than 30 days.
Your time slot is reserved when your transcript has been received, even if you previously e-mailed me about my availability. Please be as specific as possible about length, ETA, and the deadline for your transcript.
Please note that this policy only applies if there is no estimated/set delivery time or if the delivery time has passed without the arrival of the transcript.
I will send you a confirmation e-mail as soon as possible after receiving the transcript and opening the e-mail to check that the file is intact. Your turnaround time will begin from the time of this confirmation email.
For standard turnaround, regardless of confirmation emails, projects received after 4:00 p.m. PST will begin at 8:00 a.m. the next day.
This does not apply to rush, express, or ASAP jobs once a specific time has been set and agreed upon.
Standard proofreading turnaround time for projects received on Friday after 12:00 p.m. through Sunday PST will be 49 to 72 hours. If you would like a strict 49-hour deadline, please note this in the email with the transcript.
All holiday work will be billed at the expedited rate.
